Guerrilla Eats is a collective set up by a group of street food traders in Manchester. Tired of trekking around farmers markets and festivals, this collective is run by people who want to trade regularly in their home town and just love the food they make.
The aim of the Guerrilla Eats events is to create a buzz around street food. By bringing in music, bars and other traders and putting it all under one roof (or no roof), we’re making street food the central focus of the events.

Fire and Salt BBQ Co.
Marinated meats slow-cooking above hickory and charcoal in their own barbecue pit. That’s what we at Fire and Salt BBQ Co. are all about. Everythinspired by traditional Southern barbecue, aiming to bring you the best smokey flavours. Adding some of our own flair as well as our handmade rubs & sauces, we make sure it tastes that little bit special. It’s bare bones barbecue, done right.
Dirty Dogs
Here at Dirty Dogs we’re bringing the best quality dogs around and teaming them up with some cracking toppings. The dog list is always changing but has included our special recipe Chilli Dog, Dirty South (slaw,pork frank,pulled pork,bbq sauce) and our Hot Chihuahua (guac,beef frank,pico de gallo,sour cream). Remember these dirty dogs are hot so grab em while we’ve still got em.
Chaat Cart
We make Indian street food, not the spicy curries people are used to, but fresh healthy chaat. Chaat is a roadside snack usually sold from a cart, often wrapped in newspaper but always delicious! There are loads of different varieties found all over India, we focus on a handful and try to do justice to the legions of original chaat-wallahs.
Barn House Bistro
My burgers are hand made from scratch with the very best ingredients I can source. I concentrate my efforts into making what I like to call “grown ups” burgers. I do this by adding a wide variety of different flavours to the patty and/or the toppings. For Guerrilla eats Xmas, I’ll be hoping to sell many of my New Mexican steak burger with jalapeño, coriander and lime mayo.
Gingers Comfort Emporium
Ginger’s Comfort Emporium won “Best Of The Best” at the British Street Food Awards 2012, as well as best dessert for the second year running. This month expect to find a seasonal collection of ice cream flavours from the van including Spiced Apple Crumble, Whisky Marmalade, Quince Honey & Rose. And of course perennial Manchester favourite “Chorlton Crack” (Salted caramel& peanut butter)
Sugar Bun Sisters
All of our cakes are made with the finest ingredients and combined with our love for baking we know you’ll be left wanting more. We believe that every part of life is made better with cake so any time, any place, any party let Sugar Bun Sisters spread some cake filled happiness.
Las Paelleras
Vibrant Spanish street food cooked from scratch; colorful, fresh and packed with flavour. Las Paelleras are firing up the pans for the last time this year to bring you their proper paellas and top notch tapas…with a festive twist! Hasta Luego Amigos!
Margo and Rita
If you’ve never had a Burrito you’ve never lived! Burritos are what we’re famous for. We use only the best 12″ tortillas which are then warmed & filled right there just to your liking and finished with one of our ‘house’ sauces of Cowboy, Charra or Ferno. We also have Nachos with Sides, Naked Burritos, Chilli Hot Chocolate & Margos home-baked Chilli Muffins. All served with love from Rita the MexiVan adorned with Images of Mexican Charra. Streatza
Streatza is a mobile woodfired pizzeria and street kitchen trading from a 1969 Citroen H Van. We are passionate about making authentic neapolitan pizza and stick to the strict rules laid down by the Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana. We hand stretch each pizza to order and top it with tomato sauce made with san marzano tomatoes, fresh fior di latte mozzarella, olive oil and fresh basil. . We also offer Italian street food snacks including arancini (deep fried risotto balls) and panzerotti (mini fried calzones).
